A Golden Time of Year

It's a golden time of year. The sun rises later casting its golden glow on buildings. The fall colours linger, though the bright reds are fewer.

Definitely Fall

Lawns are carpeted with leaves while the trees' covering gets sparser. November - the month when colour slowly drains out of the landscape.

More Road Work

But for now it is still golden.


  1. I'd love to crunch through those leaves in the golden light.

  2. The final stage of autumn foliage makes me somewhat sentimental and reminds me of some lines from “Stay Gold” by Stevie Wonder.

    Life is but a twinkling of an eye
    Yet filled with sorrow and compassion
    though not imagined
    All things that happen
    Will age too old
