Fall reveals its seasonal splendour dressing the trees in fiery clothes.
Leafy carpets cover the grass, redecorating the landscape.

Trees compete to show off their fashion finery.

Cold rainy nights make the trees shiver and slowly drop their their leaves, revealing their woody skeletons.
Autumn splendour is ever-changing, a last fancy festivity before the long winter rest.

Beautiful, beautiful color - hard to see them 'undressing' so quickly though. I remember hoping the color would last much longer! :) Enjoy the last of autumn!
ReplyDeleteYour fall is glorious in Montreal Susan! What a lot of colors - I hiked this morning and all the aspens are bare.

Beautiful, beautiful layers of colors! Trees look like singing the praise of autumn with their matured colored leaves. Around me, the color is still almost green except the golden rice paddies. Enjoy your autumn, Susan.
