First Shoots

When spring decides to come the snow melts quickly. Shoots in many gardens are already beginning to show. If you look carefully, you will see a tinge of purple where the crocuses are starting.



In sheltered gardens, the snowdrops have opened. Spring doesn't wait for all the snow to be gone to get busy with growing.
