Bicycle Rack

Some brave souls cycle all winter. While we have many bicycle lanes, the snow blocks some and the slippery conditions make cycling hazardous. In addition, we have hit a cold snap, with temperatures hovering around -20C (-4F). Give me an enclosed vehicle - I don't need the wind in my face!

    Oh, yes, we have riders here, too - with studded tires, sometimes carrying skis on their backs! Also very cold here - minus 6 this morning.

    I really like this photo in black and white! I have two crazy colleagues who cycle all through the year, with studded tyres in winter. Brrrr, it's colder where you are now - close to 0C here.

    This reminds me of the years in middle school when my son rode his bike to school almost every day with chains wrapped around the tires for traction! Hey I'm with you, though. Give me an enclosed vehicle...with heated seats!

    sinikka, my husband in one such crazy. Iput my bike in the basement when we turn the clocks back and it stays there until we move the clocks forward into summer time again!
