The red leaves on the euonymous shrub flash their bright colour while the rest of the reds are gone. All around the trees are slowly revealing their naked limbs as their leaves fade and fall. These leaves cling stubbornly to the branches not willing to give in to the inevitable.
I like these stubborn leaves. Hold on until the end.
