After a ferry ride from St. Barbe to Blanc-Sablon, we checked into our hotel in Forteau in Labrador and then went for a hike. There is a beautiful trail that goes between the cliffs and the bay.
The beach had little coves.
Every turn, a new delight
We were impressed by all the green, even when the growth was stunted.
The slopes had several varieties of lichen growing.
We stopped at the beach to listen to and watch the waves.
That white lichen is unusual. It reminds me of coral.
