I love it when my daughter cooks. The house was filled with the enticing smells of garlic and onion. Lentil soup - perfect for a winter day. Tasty, nourishing and warming from the inside out.
Comfort food - maybe with a slice of crusty bread. (Though I try not to eat bread, I'd make an exception with this soup.) How nice to have someone else cooking - see if she wants to move to CO!
Lentil soup looks delicious. A hot soup surely warm us up on a cold winter day. In Japan, we have such kind of soups with various many vegetable ingredients, radish, carrots, burdock roots, “konnyaku”...etc. and we sometimes add “sake lees” and “white miso”. I like it when my daughter is cooking, too.
Mmmmm! So much better than food out of a can or box...
