Snow fell softly most of the day, dressing trees in bridal finery. With frigid temperatures expected, it should stay around for Christmas. The snow brightens everything up, even at night when the light from street lamps creates frosty diamonds.

Filigree trees - we need snow here desperately. It's melting fast, and we don't have a lot to begin with - we're doing our snow dance, but it's not working!
