Winter Fun
I went to Mount Royal in pursuit of photographic opportunities to complete my photo course assignments. These involve changing settings (aperture and shutter speed) on the camera to see the results. I did manage to take some photos, but fiddling with the controls with bare hands in the frigid air was not an enjoyable activity. So recommendation number one - in future, take photo courses in warmer months.

ReplyDeleteThe place looks like it would cater for my level of being able to ski. I tried it once but crashed into a bank and decided that the whole world went by far too fast for me to be able to ski.
ReplyDeleteTwo weeks later I took my class skiing. Thank goodness for ski instructors. I sat on the deck of the cafe in the sun and watched my kids fearlessly learn to ski in one morning! By afternoon most were on the intermediate slopes!
Scary stuff.
Lots of fun being had in these photos. In New Zealand we have to go to ski fields to get shots like this, unless there is an unexpected snow fall in a few parts of our country. Once again, I am enjoying your efforts. You must be really enjoying this photography course
