Encased in Ice

I woke to see the world encased with ice. The snow had a crusty layer which cracked as I walked on it, breaking through. Cars had a layer of icy glass over them. Everything crunched.

  2. I feel like that I'm hearing the crunching sound of ice. We are in the middle of record cold wave, but no snow so far except "kazahana (wind flowers)", fluffy snowflakes whirling from the blue sky. Stay warm.
